It all started with the Puke Purse. The Puke Purse?? Yes, the Puke Purse. The husband-wife duo behind Ready Go Baby realized they needed something more efficient to use for cleaning up those pukey messes that are non-stop with babies - especially at inopportune times like while driving, eating out, running errands, etc. Colin and Nancy Roth put their heads together and with the inspiration of their children, they created a line of practical, high quality, eco-friendly and stylish products to give other moms and dads a hand. And one of those items is called the Puke Purse! It might not be the most glamorous thing to chat about, but it's reality for us mommies and to be honest it feels like the only thing you talk about with your girlfriends in the first 6 months of having a newborn is puke and poop!

Essentially the Puke Purse is a reversible wipe. After cleaning the baby's mess, it turns inside out. It contains the mess so your diaper bag stays clean and best of all it can be washed and used again! The concept of this is incredible - no more smelly receiving blankets that you used to dab off a bit of mess and no more using five or ten nonabsorbent disposable wipes while trying to soak up baby barf from your own clothes or baby's clothes.


Along with a few Puke Purses to stash in my diaper bag, I also received a pair of Bamboobs {love the names of these products!!} Bamboobs are nursing pads made with bamboo fleece and organic cotton. They're super soft, ultra absorbent, hypoallergenic, antibacterial and breathable. They're large enough that you can't notice the nursing pads under your clothes. Bamboo gets softer and more absorbent the more they are washed and dried, so expect to wash these 3-5 times before you reach maximum absorbency. This time around will be my first experience with re-usable nursing pads and I'm thrilled to start things right with my bamboobs ! They are also wonderfully priced at $5.99 a pair or 3 pairs for $15.25.

Another product that I would love to get my hands on is the Bath Time Set that includes luxe, plush washclothes and a hooded towel. I LOVE the prints on these fabrics!
