The amazing thing about having an eco-friendly review and giveaway blog is that I find some of the most unique products from truly fantastic companies. My jaw drops almost daily at all the innovative products that everyday parents {usually moms! woohoo!} are coming up with!

ZoLi is a great example of innovative company that will have you thinking, "why didn't I come up with that??". They actually won the iParenting Media Award for 2008 Greatest Products and it's no wonder why! Julianna Shaw spent years designing and redesigning her line of products until they were safe, functional, parent and baby friendly while lessening the environmental impact.

At ZoLi you can find everything from toxin free baby bottles to these incredible On-the-Go Travel Formula & Snack Dispensers to PVC free diaper changing mats.

I never thought I would ever have a need for baby bottles being the breastfeeding mama that I am. But over the past few months or so Aidan has slowly been weaning himself and I'm slightly sad to announce that our breastfeeding relationship has come to a hault at 18.5 months old. {sniff sniff } He still likes his milk in the morning, before naptime and at bedtime so he transitioned to a bottle. Now that we use bottles it's important to me that we use only the safest ones available. Being free of toxins is an absolute must and being easy on the environment is even better. Many people use the drop-in system with the disposable liners. We bought a small box to use since they do make life a bit easier but the waste was astronomical and that was only with 3 bottles a day! Imagine what a newborn would go through with 10+ bottles a day and multiply that by all the parents who use them!

Julianna designed the ZoLi bottle to ensure a great venting systems without the waste and without the hassle of cleaning a bunch of small parts found in other anti-colic bottles. The venting system is actually integrated into the nipple to air intake and nipple collapse. The body of the bottle is made of polyethersulfone {PES} plastic which is free of harmful chemicals such as bisphenol-A and phthalates. The nipple is made of nitrosamine-free silicone so you don't have to worry about any part of this bottle containing toxins!

We tried the 10oz bottles and they really are great. We didn't experience any nipple collapsing and there were very few air bubbles in the bottle. They're slightly contoured for little hands to grip, they're extremely lightweight and so easy to clean because of the wide neck. While microwaving is not recommended, if you need to when you're in a pinch {or when your toddler is being bossy about his morning bubba} you can microwave them. They can also be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.

We also tried the On-the-Go Dispenser which is 4 separate containers that all attach to each other. Each individual container keeps your formula or snacks fresh until you need it and the easy-pour spout transfers the contents into a bottle or cup easily without spills or mess. The easy stacking system lets you decide how many you want to take with you…1, 2, 3, or all 4. And the tall stacking format makes it easy to locate in your diaper bag. So far we've used this system for juice, dry snacks like crackers and wet snacks like fruit and there was no leaking. The sizes are perfect for toddler portions, they're easy to clean and come in fun bright colors!
